OK, Gorgeous, 2017 is almost here! Whether you’re re-using a statement piece, renting or buying new; going to a house party or a black-tie event, this is the occasion of the year that needs to be taken seriously))) It ain’t your family holiday dinner either. Looking sexy is allowed. And looking sexy is welcome.

Do you know what you are wearing yet? NO? It isn’t a problem.

I got you covered with 3 looks this week, anyone of them will do fine for the NYE.  My inspiration came from the black platform sandals. I like to wear heel and be comfortable when I’m dancing the night away. You too? Great, then start with a pair of shoes that you feel awesome in and which that will do fine through the night of partying!

Oh, and let’s talk about the year 2017 and what should we wear to celebrate it!

The symbol of 2017 is a Rooster. And your ticket to pleasing the Rooster is going bright and bold for the NYE with expensive, shiny accessories. So consider the advice of astrologists, but remember that a woman is only gorgeous when she is confident in her styling choices. Any shade of red means that you should wear pale pink, or orange if that is the color that will fill you with happiness and joy on the evening of the ball drop.

Shiny, provocative fabrics like satin, silk, brocade and organza, as well as the one that is at the peak of popularity – velvet, all those are great choices for the celebration of the upcoming 2017. Plenty to choose from. Use this opportunity to wear a high slit(s), a seductive neckline, open back and big luxurious golden jewelry.

If all that sounds like too much to pull off, do not fear! I’ll provide inspiration with not one, but 3 outfits this week! Surely you’ll be able to get ideas from them.

So here it goes. For my first outfit I chose a Rusty high neck long sleeve velvet dress with very high front slits. Not only they are hot, but they are trending))) The dress is elevated by a stunning green suede belt from Balmain X H&M  collaboration I have from my epic score of those items (a story of its own). Talk about one piece lifting the whole ensemble up!! (keep reading past the pics with more details)

Plus the sparkly fishnets and gold accessories to complete the look. Alluring yet very comfortable, this look is also the most reserved of the series. Wait till you see my next number on Wednesday, and the last one on Friday! All 3 are inspired by the high-heel I am wearing in this pic. The fabric of the dress is the very cozy velvet. I love it, so soft! It will also keep you warm for the fireworks outside;) I threw the long faux fur vest on in case I love the fireworks enough to linger for a long time.
