I’m entering the new year in my sparkly booties

These are lyrics from my yet-to-be-published song, Gorgeous! 

Ok, this was the hardest photoshoot ever. My third and finally successful attempt to shoot these sparkly booties.

First, it wasn’t sunny enough outside and I couldn’t make them shine. They looked like sandpaper! 

Then we shot at the mall… it was an awful idea. 

But as they say, third time’s the charm! It was actually way too sunny. The light was harsh, creating stark shadows on my face, and I couldn’t look at the camera without being blinded by the sunlight.   But they did finally sparkle, leaving several local joggers blind…

The holiday’s festivities are over, and we are eager to get back into comfortable clothes. As for me, I couldn’t wait to put on my favorite oversized knit dress, a tutu skirt (bet you have one of those), and a little dose of sparkle!
