Hello, my gorgeous friend,

I was so inspired by the color-blocked street near Hotel Monaco in Pittsburgh that I created my new spring 2017 collection in those colors. No, really, I did.

I’ve seen this street in pictures and finally stumbled upon it while shooting in Pittsburgh a few days ago. What a feast of colors! My color-blocked skirt and the abstract pavement art worked very well together!

I am always amazed by how many cool places we discover in the Burgh as we scout shooting locations.

Over the past five or six years, Pittsburgh has gotten so much cleaner and many new places are opening up: restaurants, shops, hotels, and more. We are evolving with our beloved city. Next thing you know it’ll be the hottest city to live in.   To think of it, maybe I should keep how wonderful my town is a secret?
