Hip hip hooray, Pittsburgh!

You know that Pittsburgh is known as the Steel City as well as the City of Sports. We have a football team (the Steelers), a baseball team (the Pirates) and my favorite team of all, the Pittsburgh Penguins! I’ve loved hockey since I was little. How very Russian of me. 

Why am I talking about sports on a fashion blog? I’ve discovered TWO awesome pieces of art in my Steel City: two garage doors painted as Sidney Crosby and a legendary Steelers player Troy Polamalu. I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for years and never seen them before, so I had to do the whole photo shoot with him. 

Can you guess who is my favorite Pens player? Nope, it’s not Geno. I mean he’s cool, but not him.

Ok, I know you guessed it right! It’s Sid the Kid! He is the best player and team captain in the world, an Emmy winner, the greatest human being, and one very handsome guy in my eyes!  

And I’m his biggest [stylish] fan! Maybe not the biggest, but hopefully the most stylish. I can talk about Sid forever!

This is the second look of the week with rose gold mules and socks. I styled the first one with a fun pom pom sweater and you should check it out here.

This time, I paired the slides with a statement-sleeved gingham blouse. I absolutely adore this top with bell-bottomed jeans; the two flares on the sleeve are not enough.   I know it could be too much bell, but for me, it’s the perfect amount. I thought it needed a little color, so I completed the whole outfit with this red cross-body purse with little gold bug details.
