Hello, Gorgeous!

Have Valentine’s Day plans? With a beau or with friends? Whichever the case, I have a style plan for you and me.

There’ll be a lot of red and pink around you that night. Let’s camouflage. Here is my version of the pink and red combo, take one.

I’m wearing an elegant pink coat I once bought on my travels through Russia. Its tailored shape and lovely pale pink color would elevate any outfit for the occasion. (And I found an awesome similar coat available now, check the links at the bottom of the post as usual.)

My skirt is a mini, and I’m wearing over-the-knee boots with it to up the heat, melt the hearts, and generally warm up the atmosphere anywhere I go.  

Here is another version of the red mini skirt with a pink sweater and a pair of blue velvet over-the-knee boots. A mini can be so versatile and totally applicable in winter! How? The answer is over-the-knee boots.

My coat has no collar, so it’s only natural that my shirt would have one.    The DIY black ribbon bow I added brings just enough of the black color from the boots into the rest of the outfit.

Like my Audrey Hepburn cigar box purse? It’s a thrift store score, but you can find plenty of similar box purses in stores, new or gently used. There’s a lot of them available on Poshmark as I write this. Just sayin’…
